A great afternoon with Nastia. She has really started to open up to us. She had me carry her around the class room so she could read everything on the wall written in Ukrainian out loud. She wants us to see that she’s a smart girl even though she doesn’t speak English well. We took turns mugging for the camera. She took the photos of me and Lauren.
