More Pix 12/15

Here are some random shots. The staff at the restaurant in our hotel all wear these uniforms with a fez. It’s actually a Georgian restaurant but the uniforms are more Turkish than anything. The music is usually disco. At night people dance there. Also a shot of Svieta our translator. And one of the notary we have come to know too well. She’s actually the notary’s assistant. The notary comes and goes and never sits down. He signs a few documents that she has prepared and then disappears again. He wants to drink whiskey with me in the states. Notaries are more important and official here than in the states. They are kind of like paralegals and they draft documents that would be left to the lawyers at home. We had them do a few for us too. At a cost of about $40 a document, who needs lawyers?
