Lauren and Mike, Congratulations on finding two wonderful children! I cannot imagine a more unselfish act, but you will be repaid thousands of times over. I have thoroughly enjoyed the posts, and can only assume that this experience is already energizing you to be able to write all of this down given the adventures that you are living each and every day. Emma is also 9 (and quite possibly part Ukranian, as Diane’s grandparents came from that part of the world), and I can’t wait for the two girls to meet each other. I wish the two of you, no the four of you, the best of luck in navigating through the rest of the bureaucracy and back to Miami. If you keep blogging, we will keep reading! Jeff and Diane.
